Heather is a Colorado native who grew up on the mountains with horses, dogs, and cats, and moved to Denver as a young adult. At age 12, Heather began volunteering at an animal shelter and, when she was old enough, decided to pursue a career in the veterinary field. She has been in the veterinary field for over 20 as a veterinary technician and a manager. Heather enjoys all of the aspects of managing a veterinary practice, which includes taking care of people who work in the practice and the people and pets who come into the practice.
Outside of the hospital, Heather enjoys camping, sewing, cooking, movies and live music. She can be found spending time with friends, family, her boyfriend, Tom, and their two dogs a Shiba Inu, “Mr. Miyagi” and a Cardigan Welsh Corgi “Llywelyn”.
