Dr. White was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona and attended the University of Arizona for her undergraduate studies. At the University of Arizona, Dr. White received a B.A. in Communication prior to changing career paths to pursue a childhood dream of becoming a veterinarian. She received a B.S. in Veterinary Science from the University of Arizona and worked as a veterinary technician in Scottsdale, AZ before moving to Colorado to attend veterinary school. Dr. White graduated from Colorado State University in 2013 and completed a small animal rotating internship in surgery, internal medicine, general practice, and emergency at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital here in Denver.
Kristen is thrilled to be a part of a profession where she has the opportunity to help people and animals on a daily basis. While she loves every aspect of general practice, her particular interests include: oncology (cancer), emergency/critical care, and internal medicine. In her free time, Kristen enjoys hiking, skiing, gardening, and swimming. She currently lives in Denver with her husband, their son Eli, and their two Labrador Retrievers, Parker and Zoe.
